Post subject: HF_Scuba Memorial Flight

The following quote was taken from a recent Maltese newspaper report.

"Adrian Borg, a 32-year-old motorcyclist from Qawra, died in a collision in Burmarrad on Sunday afternoon.

The police said that Borg was driving a Kawasaki when the accident occurred involving a Toyota car, driven by a 37-year-old woman, of Guardamangia. The motorcyclist died on impact as a result of his serious injuries.

The driver of the Toyota and a passenger escaped injuries but had to be treated for shock".

Adrian Borg was a very likable lad and was a member of the Hell Fighters squadron. He was known to us all as HF_Scuba, a callsign adopted due to his line of work. He was a scuba instructor in Malta.

Adrian Borg was an exceptionally likeable young man, and will always be remembered for his enthusiasm, friendliness and sense of humour. He resided in Malta where he was employed as a diving instructor. A keen aviation enthusiast, he formed a jet fighter squadron within the realm of Lock On Modern Air Combat in January 2006, named The Fourth Element Fighter Squadron.

The Hell Fighters wish to extend their deepest sympathy to the family and friends of HF_Scuba. He'll certainly be missed by one and all. May he rest in peace.

At 1500 hours (US Central) on Sunday, April 29, 2007, the Hell Fighters will pay their last respects to a man who made this world a better place to live in. We would like to extend an invitation to all interested pilots regardless of squadron, to join us on this day. The game will be hosted on the Hyper Lobby and will be played in IL2 Sturmovik/Forgotten Battles version 4.08m. Communications will be in the Hell Fighters channel on the Com Central Teamspeak2 server.

A full mission brief can be viewed at http://www.hellfighters.com-central.net/sor/hf_scuba_memorial/hf_scuba_memorial.html.

Due to the nature of this event, all pilots are advised to commence practicing in the F6F-5 1944 Hellcat immediately. As of now, the North American Hell Fighters wing will be practicing formation flying for this mission on most nights from this day. One hour practice sessions will now commence on the Hyper Lobby at 8.00pm (US Eastern).

For pilots who are unable to practice during the week, please be advised that a rehearsal flight will take place at 3.00pm on Sunday, April 22. We would appreciate that all pilots attend this rehearsal so that we can determine if there are any current lagg issues.

The host for all practice sessions and the actual mission will most likely be HF_RB, so do not hesitate to join the game. The password for entry to all practice sessions and the actual mission will be hellfighter and is case sensitive. Be advised that hostile pilots using guns will be kicked immediately.

If you intend on participating in the forthcoming HF_Scuba Memorial Flight, could you please post your callsign here. Your cooperation will help immensley in the planning of this event and will be very much appreciated.

~S~ Gentlemen

We meet beneath the sounding rafters,
and the walls around are bare.
as they echo to our laughter, t'would not seem the dead were there

So stand to your glasses steady, it is all we have left to prize
quaff a cup to the dead allready
and one to the next who dies.

Rest in peace me old son.

S!

I couldnt participate in Scuba's memorial flight and im very sorry because of that :(.
Its not because i dont care, but i have so many things on my head right now and dont have much free time.

We were pretty close with Scuba, because of our hobbys.Motorbikes was his passion and he loved 2 wheels very much - Kawasaki Ninja was his "baby" and he send me some pictures of this monster bike.
He was so optimistic when he talks about his trip to Germany that he planned. Sad
He was very friendly to everybody, and had specific sence of humour so conversation with him always was a pleasure for everybody.

Its tough loss for Hellfighters and i think that number 21 will always be in our hearts.

I will miss him very much and he will be very often in my toughts.

Rest In Peace Adrian
